BIO

I’m a bilingual Cuban-Dominican American Director-Producer, Editor, and DP living in Atlanta, GA. I’ve been in the industry for almost fifteen years, wearing pretty much all of the hats in different combinations every day.

A few of the clients I’ve collaborated with over the years are Lowe’s, Home Depot, Jack Daniel’s, IHG, Sakrete, Elton John’s Farewell Tour, Cee Lo Green, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. This website is only a small selection of my portfolio.

I freelance with agencies, brands, and independent producers; I’m on the director roster at Apple Box Productions; and I also have a lot of fun pulling amazingly talented folks from my network together into well organized, efficient, high-performing teams with my boutique production company, Debonair Films.

I’m a creative who can write, shoot, and edit; I have a grasp of budgets, logistics, and planning; I’ve dealt with carnets to bring gear into Mexico, arranged 16mm film dailies in Rome, rented classic cars in Nice, handled SAG paperwork, and verbally negotiated a palazzo rental on the grand canal in Venice for a shooting location.

One of my favorite things about this industry is that every project is different. I love doing new things with new people, exploring new techniques and new ways of telling stories. Although technology develops, the fundamentals never change.

At the moment I’m developing several narrative projects: writing/directing/producing Dominican horror feature Macheteros, producing independent multicam sitcom pilot Fossil Fuel Cafe, and lastly writing/directing/producing feature-length giallo crime thriller Helianthus from the recently completed homonymous short film. And there’s other stuff coming - I’m always cooking!
